SAP Related Experience
April 1998 until date
Company: PT Arya Kharisma (Mobil 88) - Indonesia
Project Scope: SAP R/3 module FI/CO/AM, SD, MM and PM
Project Size: 15 IT, 14 Key Users
Role: Member for Logistic Team, co-Team Leader
Responsibility: Train, design & configuration
Team Size: 6 IT, 6 Key Users
Mobil 88 is used car dealer part of ASTRA Group. Its business range from purchasing used car, car transferring, recondition,
leasing and order management cycle. SAP is chosen to enable increasing of productivity and fasten material cycle in its system.
Integration among Auto2000 group, which the company is included, can make synergy; especially other company (TRAC) in the same
group is using SAP as business solution.
I am a part of a team in rapid implementation of SAP R/3 for PT Arya Kharisma (the biggest used car dealer in
Indonesia). As a team member for Logistic team, I have responsibility in ABAP programming integration to other module such
as FI/CO/AM, PM and SD. I am involved in collecting user requirements, analysing as-is processes, designing to-be business
functions and adding enhancements.
I also contribute significantly through introducing ideas based on my knowledge and working experience, which include
project <s deliverables and simplifications of the company business functions and processes.
I responsible for the following:
September 1996 to February 1998
Company: PT Serasi Auto Raya (Toyota Rent a Car) - Indonesia
Project Scope: SAP R/3 module FI/CO/AM, MM, SD, PM/SM and HR
Project Size: 18 IT, 10 Key Users
Role: Team Member for Fleet Team (PM/SM module)
Responsibility: Collect Requirement, Programming, Data Maintenance & Training
Team Size: 5 IT, 3 Key Users
I had built SAPScript, layout text and ABAP programs in PM area. For notification printing,
some SAP standard programs had been assigned to some specific notification type. These programs were modified to match
printing requirement. Layout texts were created so the programs can use the layout texts.
PM Information Systems (Customer-defined analysis) and Logistics Information system were also configured
to accommodate one of my program requirements. I had to create new domain, data element, info structure
and transparent table to fulfil user requirement. The table was created in PMIS sub module and program that displays the
contents was generated automatically by system. This display program was modified to adapt requirement. Content of the table
is filled by another program that I had been built. The program collects data from PM, SD and AM tables daily and place outputs
on the PMIS table. The daily and weekly background job scheduling were maintained for the program. Weekly background scheduling
was maintained because in real world, data are sometimes late to be entered and the program had to keep up with this. In the end
of the month, the PMIS table data contents from 4 months ago are summarised with another monthly background job program. It is
has to be done because of huge size of data. My ABAP program use user-defined transparent table to support program computation.
This transparent table contains data that come from ASCII file. The ASCII file is generated using Macro Excel, because user
entered the data on Excel Worksheet. The output, which located in PMIS area, can be viewed in 9 dimensions because it has 9 output
criteria.
Another program for revenue was developed using SD tables. Before that, I had interaction with users to collect program
specification. This program generated output to user-defined transparent table. Data are generated from invoices that are created
in previous month or their contract duration is in previous month. Background job is scheduled monthly. To display the result,
another program was developed, so users can view the output in different ways and print it to dot matrix printer.
I did part of user manual, data maintenance and bug fixing for PM module. Beside that, I supported
Electronic Commerce team in the company for data structure information and developed project documentation conversion
from MS-Office format to HTML format. System was going live on April 1997 with FI/CO/AM, PM, HR and SD modules.
I had done configuration in Plant Maintenance to integrate with my ABAP programs:
